Products from Villa Barone
The Villa Barone is located on a 140 acre ranch in the Jerusalem Valley in Lake County, California.  The area is famous for its clean air and open spaces.

 The County is dominated by volcanic features such as Mt. Konocti, Clear Lake and numerous hot springs and geothermal wells for clean steam energy generation.

The ranch has over 700 olive trees specifically chosen to produce world class olive oil. 

The Villa Barone is actively planting 5 varieties of olives principally for Extra Virgin olive oil production.  Until our trees come on line we are working with selected growers to present top quality olive oils to our clients.  In 2005 we offered late harvest Mission blend.  In 2006 we’re adding Paso Robles Tuscan to our offering.  As our orchard matures we’ll also be bringing Arbequina and Kalamata oils on line.  We’re also anticipating the introduction of our first imported oil in late 2006, just in time for the 2007 offering.  We’re negotiating a limited quantity of Sicilian oil from Nucellara fruit.  We were very impressed by this oil in our recent taste testing visit. For our “Tuscan” style oil we blend Frantoio, Lecchino, Pendolino and Maurino varieties. We also offer Arbequina and Kalamata olive oil. To round out our oil offering we purchase Mission fruit annually thus allowing us to offer 4 varieties of oil to suite every need. Sevilliano trees are being grown to assure a strong supply of high quality, large olives for our spicy, food olive products.

The ranch contains a natural spring, the source of the pure water used in our natural health products.  The spring water is tested by an independent laboratory to verify the mineral and biological purity of the source.  After collection the water is double filtered.  First we use an activated charcoal filtration system and then a UV purifier to remove any bacteria.  Clay deposits, mined on the ranch are used in our clay facial products.

We are steadily adding more herbs and botanicals to our ranch.  Lavender and Aloe Vera are a few of the most recent additions.  All are grown without pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers.

In 2003 we started the Vita Naturale product line of soaps and cosmetics.  Staying true to our goal we strived to use only natural ingredients in our products.  Whenever possible we add olive oil to the cosmetic products.  All other ingredients are cosmetic grade.  Specific ingredients can be found in the description section of each product.
